The firm, which has delayed commissioning of the plant, should be blacklisted,” he said.Similarly, standing committee chairman Ashish Dhawale said several such projects need to be reviewed.Responding to the concerns raised by the corporators, chief sanitation inspector Vijay Patil said that a meeting of all the stakeholders, such as main investors, subcontractors, has been called on Tuesday.“We have taken a review of the project, which is in the final stages of completion. We have also started imposing daily fine of Rs 10,000 on the contractor for delay in commissioning the project,” he said.If the stakeholders fail to give any strong assurance regarding the commissioning of the project, the civic administration is planning to take over the plant and appoint a new contractor and get the work done, sources said.
