A Warli workshop for Kolhapurkars

The tribal art form Warli has been gaining popularity for quite some time now. During the workshop too, the participants decorated cloth bags with Warli art And Maharashtra Times cultural club, along with Colour Fourteen art gallery, arranged a special Worli workshop recently for Kolhapurkars.Be it clothes, gift articles or decorative utility items like mugs and pen holders, this tribal culture has made its way into urban spaces, which has helped the centuries old art form survive.
