It was Valentine’s day yesterday and all over the town, young couples were busy expressing their fondness for each other with balloons, flowers and other gifts. Subsequently, the city youth celebrated many other days including hug day and teddy bear day. Students from Mahavir college visited an orphanage.The excitement for this day had begun a week ago with rose day. The city came alive in red with the gift shops, restaurants and other hang out places being decorated for the day. Some people in the city even visited old age homes to spread cheers among the elderly by holding interaction sessions with them.
