Students raise environment issues through theatre

‘Navya Disha, Navi Asha’ and ‘Don’t Mind’, these two plays won awards at a recently concluded theatre festival in the city. The plays were a part of an environmental theatre festival which was organised for children.These students from various schools, created environmental awareness through their direction and acting. These plays were presented by the students from Suresh Khade Medium School in Miraj and Kalamb Madhyamik Vidyalay in Pachgaon respectively. Besides adjudging various exceptional plays, individual artists were also given awards for their performances. Quite a few people from the city attended the event.
