'Confident of increasing tally 3 times'

KOLHAPUR: Expressing confidence over increasing the tally of NCP seats in Maharashtra in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, NCP state chief Jayant Patil said the party is confident of increasing the number of seats three-fold as compared to the 2014 general elections. We are expecting to increase our tally three-fold than what we won in 2014," he added.The NCP had won four seats in 2014 Lok Sabha elections. We are also trying to organise a joint rally of Rahul Gandhi and Sharad Pawar in Kolhapur for Mahadik." People are becoming vocal against Narendra Modi and his government, and their anger will be visible in the results," he said. People are becoming vocal against Narendra Modi and his government, and their anger will be visible in the results," he said."We have successfully worked over the alliances for our seats with Congress and Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatna and are working out a strategy to ensure winning maximum seats in Maharashtra. We are expecting to increase our tally three-fold than what we won in 2014," he added.The NCP had won four seats in 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, NCP MP Dhananjay Mahadik will be filing his nomination on April 1.Briefing about the same, NCP leader Hasan Mushriff said, "All leaders from NCP and Congress will be present at the district collectorate on April 1 to file the nomination papers of Mahadik for Kolhapur Lok Sabha seat. We are also trying to organise a joint rally of Rahul Gandhi and Sharad Pawar in Kolhapur for Mahadik."
