As a part of Maharashtra Times initiative, a discussion was held at Gopalkrishna Gokhale college in the city. The youngsters there were of the opinion- India being a country with a young population, opportunities should be made available for development of their skills. Their issues should not be used merely for vote-bank politics.The students further felt that there are other areas which should be focused as well. These include making the streets safe for women, a helpline where they can reach out to during emergencies and providing equal job opportunities for both the genders.
