Kolhapur: Around 2 ,002 zilla parishad(ZP) schools in the district will be equipped with digital learning by the end of next month."Many of these schools have already adapted the advanced mode of learning. We are trying our best to initiate the same in the remaining schools,"said a district education department official.In a workshop at Vivekanand college, the chairman of the education committe, Ambarishsinh Ghatge said, "The acceptance of the digital way of learning is a top priority for us. We are trying our best to digitise the aided schools."Over 1,000 teachers and staff members participated in the workshop. Dhule district is the first in the state to implement the digital mode of education. Their experiences will be taken into consideration for making the district achieve the target of digital learning.Chief executive officer, Kolhapur ZP, Kunal Khemnar said, "ZP school teachers must take an effort to learn more about technology and android mobile phones. Especially teachers in schools located in the rural parts of the district must be encouraged to follow the digital way of learning."Meanwhile, primary education officer Subhash Chougule said, "With the help of active public participation many ZP schools have adapted the digital mode of learning. The main motive is to improve the education standards across the aided schools in the district."
