done...slug: separate casesKolhapur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Sangli has nabbed two government officials in separate incidents for allegedly taking bribe.On Tuesday, ACB officials arrested a police constable attached with city traffic, Miraj, for allegedly demanding bribe of Rs 1,200 from a person accusing him of using his vehicle for public transport without a valid licence.The constable has been identified as Vinod Baburao Kadam of Mal Lane of Mangalwar Peth in Miraj.According to ACB officials, the complainant owns an SUV. Alleging that he was using the SUV for public transport, Kadam demanded bribe of Rs 1,200 per month from him and threatened to take action against him if he fails to pay the money. Following this, the complainant approached the ACB, which arrested Kadam on Tuesday.In another case, the ACB officials caught a circle officer attached with Shirala taluka at Sagaon village while accepting bribe of Rs 3,000 from a man on Monday for attaching his name to the ancestral property.The circle officer has been identified as Samir Patel of Karmveer Nagar at Islampur in Sangli district.The ACB officials said the complainant owns a plot in Kandoor village and had applied to attach the property on his name after the death of his father.
