‘Murderers of Parsare and Lankesh are same’

DONEKolhapur: Those who murdered Govind Pansare are the same culprits who killed Gauri Lankesh, said activist Uday Narkar. He was speaking at the gathering of 'Morning walk to remember Pansare', in city on Wednesday.Activists from progressive organisations had organised the morning walk at Nikam Park. The aim of morning walk is also to create pressure on the government to speed up the investigation of the Pansare murder case." Govind Pansare fell to bullets of unidentified men on February 16, 2015 and succumbed on February 20.The activists gathered at autorickshaw stop at Nikam Park and walked across Nikam park, Sardar colony, Nale colony, Parvati garden and Mhasoba temple. The walk concluded at Nikam park.Addressing the gathering, activist Uday Narkar said, "There is a similarity in modus operandi of murders of rationalists Narendra Dabholkar, Pansare, M M Kalburgi and Lankesh.

The 'walk' is organised on 20th day of every month to pay tributes to the left wing CPI learder, Pansare, and build pressure on government to speed up the investigation of Pansare murder case. Govind Pansare fell to bullets of unidentified men on February 16, 2015 and succumbed on February 20.The activists gathered at autorickshaw stop at Nikam Park and walked across Nikam park, Sardar colony, Nale colony, Parvati garden and Mhasoba temple. All were speaking for the secular India and the culprits against their ideology have killed them. It is our responsibility to put full efforts to spread their thoughts and ideology among people to strengthen our democracy. The aim of morning walk is also to create pressure on the government to speed up the investigation of the Pansare murder case."
