KOLHAPUR: The citizens have lodged 27 complaints about bad roads with the Kolhapur District Legal Services Authority (KDLSA), the nodal agency appointed by the high court, since last month.KDLSA officials said they have taken note of all the complaints and have issued notices to the concerned departments. The civic authorities have have repaired three of these roads so far.Umeshchandra More, secretary of KDLSA, said, "On September 10, we had received the order stating that the DLSA has been appointed nodal office to receive complaints from public and forward them to civic bodies and do follow up. We published advertisements in all leading newspapers and appealed to people to email their complaints.Till November 18, we have received 27 complaints, out of which 19 are from the city with one or two from neighbouring villages and nine are from Ichalkaranji. We have forwarded them to the concerned civic officials." "We have also set up a front office comprising a lawyer and one para-legal volunteer to check these complaints and do follow up with concerned authorities.
