KOLKATA: A final year student of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute was rusticated from the institute by the officials on Thursday on charges of ragging Sources said, the victim junior student, a Bangladeshi national, had lodged a complaint against five senior final year students for allegedly assaulting him on the pretext of ragging last week. “The investigation is still on,” said an officer of Panchasayar police station. The student left on Tuesday evening.Cops probing into the case are also questioning the accused youths and have recorded statements of the victim as well as other witnesses at the party.
