KOLKATA: Mithun Tikadar , a Trinamool councillor of Budge Budge municipality was shot at from a close range inside party office on Monday night. Witnesses said two youths entered the party office and fired at him from a close range. As he was bleeding profusely so he was taken to operation theatre.Gautam Dasgupta, vice president of Budge Budge municipality who ferried Tikadar to hospital said Tikadar was in a critical condition. Tikadar, a councillor of ward 20 was attacked inside his ward while he was sitting on a chair.He was admitted to a city hospital. Trinamool leaders blamed BJP for the attack, but BJP leader Rahul Sinha refuted the charge.
