Kolkata: Kolkata Police is mulling to introduce new signal lights in a bid to boost their visibility to drivers and pedestrians. As an experiment in this regard, Kolkata Traffic Police has recently installed a 'T' shaped signal post at Deshapriya Park crossing, with LED strips along the entire post. According to Deputy Commissioner (Traffic) Pandey Santosh, the 'T' shaped signal post has been wrapped with LED lights along with the conventional signal lights and both are connected with the same signal control.
