Three more people have been arrested in the police personnel assault case, including the youth, who was detained for driving in drunken state.
On Tuesday DC, South, submitted a report to Sharma, in which the Officer-in-Charge of Tollygunge was held responsible for what happened on Sunday.
It was also mentioned in the report that OC did not properly inform the DC, South, due to which immediate action could not be taken.
Following the report submitted on Tuesday, Ghosh was removed from the post of OC, Tollygunge police station on Wednesday.
Saroj Praharaj, who was the OC of South Port police station, will replace him.
