Faulty NRC list Mamata to take part in protest walk

Kolkata: Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee will take part in a walk on Thursday to protest against the publication of faulty NRC list in Assam in which names of 19 lakh people have been deleted. The rally will start from Sinthee More and will end at Shyambazar Five Point Crossing. Banerjee has said over and again that the NRC has been done to create fear psychosis among the masses. The Chief Minister has categorically said that the state government will not allow the Centre to prepare the NRC in Bengal. Banerjee alleged that the names of family members of Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, former President of India, have been dropped too from the list.
