State govt set to observe Constitution Day on Nov 26 27

Kolkata: The state government will observe Constitution Day on November 26 and 27, said Partha Chatterjee, state Parliamentary Affairs minister on Monday. There will be a special session of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly and the government will invite guests to attend the two-day function. An all-party meeting will be held on November 25, while the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee, known as BA Committee in the Assembly parlance will be held on November 24. The day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
