S Dinajpur to crack down on violators of restrictions

BALURGHAT: In view of the rising threat of Coronavirus outbreak in the state, local administration and police will impose the order of lockdown strictly in South Dinajpur.
The move comes a day after a group of people was found loitering for no purpose, violating the direction.
Meanwhile, the district administration as per direction of the state notified complete safety restrictions from 1700 hours of March 23 to midnight of March 31 for the entire district.
"As per ruling, there has been a total suspension of all public transport, shutdown of commercial establishments, shops and offices.
Shops selling vegetables, fish, meat and other consumables will remain open.
