Bollywood and Bengal Veteran, an icon for Disco Dancer who recently joined BJP in the Bengal election 2021 is celebrating his 71 years of his birthday with the Kolkata police. Yes! the veteran is accused of using inflammatory speech during the Bengal poll campaign.
The FIR against Mithun was logged during the polls, accusing him as he chanted "marbo ekhane lassh porbe shoshane" (I will thrash you here, and the body will fall on the cremation ground) and "ek chobole chabi" (You will be imprisoned in the picture by a bite of a snake) said the dialogue, which led to post-election violence in the state.
The Calcutta High Court directed Mithun Chakraborty to give his e-mail address to the state. So that he can join the interrogation through video conference in connection with the complaint lodged for allegedly inciting violence. While hearing the actor`s plea, the court had also directed the investigating officer to give reasonable time to Mithun Chakraborty to appear through video conference.
In this connection, today Kolkata Police is virtually interrogating Mithun. Let us tell you that today is also the birthday of Mithun Chakraborty. This veteran actor has turned 71 today.
