App launched to streamline administration of schools
- | Saturday | 13th January, 2018
Edumia, an active management app developed by a Kozhikode-based IT firm and launched here on Thursday, will be used for streamlining the daily administration of the six schools. District panchayat president Babu Parassery inaugurated the project at a function held at Government Higher secondary school, Balussery, on Friday. District panchayat authorities said the app would help parents track all official activities at the schools and the details of students’ participation in it. Initially, the government schools at Balussery, Mavoor, Narikkuni, Kuttiyadi, Orkkatteri and Parannur will be shifting to the new app-based administration. The District Institute of Education and Training will monitor the progress of the new technology-based administration in schools and check its scope for further expansion.
