Eco impact study near MLA’s theme park soon

The stop memo issued by the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority on a theme park owned by P.V. Anvar, MLA, at Kakkadampoyil in Koodaranhi grama panchayat in Kozhikode district is unlikely to be lifted any time soon. “A report suggesting a detailed study in the area will be submitted to the State government in the coming days,” he added. Jose told The Hindu on Sunday that the notice served on the park would be valid till further orders were issued. The Kerala High Court had issued a notice to the State government and the MLA on a petition seeking demolition of the park run by the MLA.
