A 61-year-old martial art trainer, who was arrested on the charge of sexually abusing a minor girl trainee, was remanded in judicial custody on Friday. He was charged under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The suspect, Thondiyil Jayan, allegedly abused the girl when her family members were away from home. The police said the 11-year-old victim was hospitalised following the incident.
