The project aims at eliminating child labour, child beggary, dropout at schools, sexual exploitation and drug addiction, besides ensuring that children are not involved in cybercrime. The Harshabalyam project will be implemented in the district as part of enforcing the Juvenile Justice Act. The project will be implemented with the help of various organisations working in the child welfare sector. The district administration, District Legal Services Authority, District Child Protection Unit, Excise, Education, Labour and Health departments, Child Welfare Committee, Juvenile Justice Board, police and childline will be part of the project. Jose has requested the cooperation of the public to end violations of children’s rights and exploitations.
