National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT-C) is teaming up with Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram, for developing a healthcare-related technology.
Computer Science and Engineering students of NIT-C.Based on the patient data provided by SCTIMST, NIT-C will develop the algorithm using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
As of now there is no similar system available in India.
The technology will help people who are on anticoagulation drugs.
It has inked an agreement with SCTIMST for a project aimed at developing an algorithm to aid in the management of anticoagulation for patients requiring oral anticoagulant drugs.
