Ramesh KurupSchool students will not be forced to contribute to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund and there will be no action against those who do not contribute, Labour Minister T.P. The students of Government Higher Secondary School, Nadakkavu, collected ?10.05 lakh in just one hour to make the highest contribution from a school in the district. More than ?1.39 crore was collected at the drive held at the MLA’s office in Feroke, besides two land documents. So far, around ?2 crore has been collected from 1,199 schools in the district in two days. School, Bilathikulam, selling their handicraft products in front of the school to raise funds for flood relief.
