The placement of the 19th batch of postgraduate students of the Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) has been completed with the participation of 107 prominent recruiters. IIM-K officials said all the 334 students of the 2015-17 batch secured placements with an average annual remuneration of ?17.14 lakh. Diverse roles in consulting domain were also offered to 25% of the students by companies such as Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group and Cognizant Business Consulting. The season recorded an increase in the number of finance roles on offer with major companies such as American Express, Axis Bank, Bank of America, Citibank and Deutsche Bank making offers to 26% of the candidates. While Amazon, Capita, Asian Paints and Shell recruited students in Operations, other recruiters such as Aspect Ratio, Capgemini, EXL Services, HCL and Hexaware recruited candidates for their IT and Analytics positions.
