Cop caught accepting bribe

Maurya demanded a bribe of Rs 30,000 from Manjula to settle the dispute. The team using phenolphthalein powder nabbed Maurya when he was accepting the bribe from Manjula. He had also threatened to frame Manjula and her husband in a fake case if she refused to pay money, said SP ACP Lucknow Rajiv Malhotra.Manjula approached police. "Manjula gave us the evidence following which a trap team was deputed to nab Maurya," said Malhotra.
