LUCKNOW: Tuesday morning began on a horrifying note for Suraksha Sharma and left her devastated and torn apart by afternoon. As news of the fire at two Charbagh hotels reached Suraksha, she started making frantic calls to her husband Priyansh Sharma's colleagues and relatives in Lucknow, only to receive the news of his untimely death.A resident of Aligarh, Priyansh (40), regional manager of a Noida-based company, had come to Lucknow on an official tour and was staying at SSJ International."At 9am, I got a call from Suraksha who saw news on TV and asked me to figure out Priyansh's whereabouts as she was not able to contact him," said Shivam Bharadwaj, a relative of Priyansh. Suraksha has a two-year-old daughter to raise.Shivam contacted Priyansh's colleagues and tried to trace him as they went to the spot, Trauma Centre, Balrampur Hospital and then Civil Hospital. "We kept looking around in all hospitals. Finally we found his body at the mortuary of Civil Hospital," he said.Suraksha and other family members reached Lucknow at around 5pm.The colleagues of 35-year-old Santosh Mane from Pune also had a hard time looking for him from one hospital to another. Jagdeep, manager of Mane's company in Lucknow, said, "I asked police to help me locate Mane. But they sent me away, did not listen when I requested them to look for him again in the hotel."Later in the evening, Mane was identified as one of the six persons who had died in the incident.
