Fake cops dupe senior citizen of gold jewellery in Indiranagar

Around 10am, when near a medical store, the miscreants stopped the rickshaw and asked him where he was headed.
LUCKNOW: Two miscreants impersonating as crime branch officials conned a a retired regional labour commissioner of a gold chain, pendant and two rings in Indiranagar on Wednesday.According to the police, the victim, 72-year-old Amarnath of Indiranagar, was travelling in a rickshaw when the incident occurred.
They then told him that an incident of loot had taken place some distance away and police were conducting checking.The miscreants advised the victim to hide the jewellery he was wearing and gave him a paper to wrap it in.
