CBI files final chargesheet against Sengar

Around 6pm, Atul Singh Sengar along with Vineet Mishra, Bauwa Singh, Sonu Singh abused and brutally assaulted him at his house and thrashed his wife and survivor when they intervened. He was also arrested in an Arms Act case on April 4.CBI claimed that BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar played an instrumental role in influencing police to register a case against the survivor’s father. BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been named by CBI in two chargesheets.Meanwhile, the court of special judge Vatsal Srivastava fixed July 17 for taking cognizance on the chargesheet against MLA Kuldeep Senger and his associate Shashi in the rape case after CBI produced original records of the case in court on Friday. Except MLA’s brother Atul Singh Senger and constable Amir Khan, other accused are already in judicial custody. Sengar made calls to senior police officials at the time coinciding with the framing of survivor’s father in the case at Makhi police station.With the Friday chargesheet, CBI has completed probe in all three FIRs it had registered in the Unnao rape case on April 13.

LUCKNOW: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday filed the third chargesheet in the Unnao rape case in a special CBI court in Lucknow and named 10 persons, including BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar , for falsely implicating the rape survivor's father in an Arms Act case.The nine others include station house officer Ashok Singh Bhadauriya, sub-inspector Kamta Prasad, constable Amir Khan, all of Makhi police station in Unnao, MLA's brother Atul Singh Sengar, Tinku Singh, Vinay Mishra, Bauwa Singh, Sonu Singh, Suman Singh.C BI has framed charges under sections 166, 167, 193, 201, 218 read with section 120 B of IPC and section 3/25 of Arms Act. Except MLA’s brother Atul Singh Senger and constable Amir Khan, other accused are already in judicial custody. Special judicial magistrate of CBI, Sapna Tripathi fixed July 26 for taking cognizance of the offences.On the fateful day of April 3, survivor’s father had come from Delhi to attend court regarding the registration of the case over his minor daughter’s rape by the MLA. Around 6pm, Atul Singh Sengar along with Vineet Mishra, Bauwa Singh, Sonu Singh abused and brutally assaulted him at his house and thrashed his wife and survivor when they intervened. Later, when he approached the Makhi police station to lodge a complaint no action was taken while the accused in connivance with cops got a case registered against him. He was also arrested in an Arms Act case on April 4.CBI claimed that BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar played an instrumental role in influencing police to register a case against the survivor’s father.
