Meerut excise officer dies as SUV rammed into a dividerSource: TNNIn a tragic incident, an assistance excise officer from Meerut died after the SUV in which he was travelling met with an accident. The SUV rammed into a divider on Agra-Lucknow Expressway. After the SUV rammed into the divider, it flipped several times. Three others including a deputy commissioner of excise travelling with him in the SUV are also seriously injured. According to cops, the driver of the SUV lost control of it due to wet bitumen road.

The SUV rammed into a divider on Agra-Lucknow Expressway. Three others including a deputy commissioner of excise travelling with him in the SUV are also seriously injured. The victim is identified as AEO Chandra Shekhar who is from Agra's Sikandra area. According to cops, the driver of the SUV lost control of it due to wet bitumen road. After the SUV rammed into the divider, it flipped several times. The victim sustained head injury and succumbed to his injuries.
