3 youths drown in Gomti during visarjan

LUCKNOW: A youth drowned while two others were feared drowned in the Gomti during immersion of Lord Ganesha’s idols on Wednesday evening.Police said a group of youths from Khadra in Hasanganj had gone to the Dhobi ghat for idol immersion. Vishal had also come for idol immersion. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said. “Some ofthem went for a swim in the river around 6pm after the immersion got over,” said station house officer, Hasanganj, Amber Singh.Four of them began drowning when they reached the middle of the river.
