She opened the main door of the flat and jumped off the railing at the end of corridor.The residents of the apartment rushed out of their flats on hearing screams and a loud thud. Residents said that they saw Alok sitting next to Sumiti's body and crying.Prithvi told TOI that Sumiti was having an argument with his father over some issue when she suddenly ran out and jumped off the 11th floor of the building." The scene was horrific," said Rahul Sinha, a resident of the apartment."Alok is a reserved man and does not interact much with others. I don't know much about the family as we did not have enough interaction. Whenever I met him he did not speak much," said a resident, seeking anonymity.SHO Gomtinagar Triloki Singh said that FIR has not been registered in the case as the family has not yet given a complaint. "The body has been sent for post-mortem. We will register a case and take necessary action as needed in the case," he added.
