Believe in Indian values to fight global issues

LUCKNOW: Believing in Indian values like Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam which means the world is one family, can help fight global issues like terrorism and use of nuclear weapons and wars. This was stated by chief minister Yogi Adityanath in his inaugural address during the 19th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World (ICCJW-2018) at the Kanpur Road Branch of the City Montessori School on Saturday. The four-day conference will culminate on November 20. "I am hopeful that the conclusions and deliberations held in the 19th International conference will be helpful in giving a safe and secure future to billions of children in future," said the CM.During the conference, students will make an appeal on behalf of children to the world judiciary for safeguarding the future from war, natural disaster, climate change and other global issues.The conference is being held to make students and the general public take a pledge to shrug off anarchy, famishment, poverty, illiteracy and epidemic and make an enforceable international law for it.It will witness the presence of more than 365 Chief Justices, Judges and legal luminaries from as many as 71 countries.
