Centre shouldnt wait for SC verdict Shiv Sena

"The Ram Temple is a matter of faith and we have seen the outcome of the SC order on the Sabarimala Temple. Lucknow: Making a push for an ordinance on the Ram Temple issue so that it could be built before 2019 elections, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has said that the Centre should not wait for the Supreme Court order on the matter. He said had it not been for Shiv Sainiks, the issue of the Ram Temple would not have been under discussion as they had actively participated in toppling the dome of Babri Masjid in 1992. The matter has to be settled now and cannot be an issue in any other election from now on," Raut said. "BJP won the kind of majority it did in the 2014 elections on the name of Lord Ram.

"BJP won the kind of majority it did in the 2014 elections on the name of Lord Ram. The matter has to be settled now and cannot be an issue in any other election from now on," Raut said. He said had it not been for Shiv Sainiks, the issue of the Ram Temple would not have been under discussion as they had actively participated in toppling the dome of Babri Masjid in 1992.
