Yogi invokes Ram Katha for India Nepal ties

"Ram Katha ties the people of India and Nepal with a single thread. "Nepal is entering a new era of socio-economic development based on good governance and inclusive development. The CM, who also met with senior Nepalese politicians, said that the two countries were linked historically through "Ram Katha" and therefore the government had prioritized transport links between Nepal and UP. The familial bonds between King Janak and King Dashrath have not only brought Ayodhya and Janakpur much closer but also brought India and Nepal in a very close proximity," he said. Calling India Nepal's "trustworthy partner", Yogi said that to make it easier for Nepal to participate in India's economic growth, it was important to increase the level of connectivity between the two countries.

LUCKNOW: A day after BJP faced a rout in three states, chief minister Yogi Adityanath left for Nepal to attend vivaah panchmi celebrations to mark the marriage of Lord Ram with Sita.The CM spent Wednesday night in Patna where he met with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.Janakpur, where the vivaah panchmi festivities took place, is considered to be the home of Sita. The CM, who also met with senior Nepalese politicians, said that the two countries were linked historically through "Ram Katha" and therefore the government had prioritized transport links between Nepal and UP. Yogi, whose recent campaigning on behalf of BJP across the four states of Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan was heavily dependent on invocation of Ram and construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya , juxtaposed the diplomatic ties between India and Nepal with the religious connections due to Lord Ram's marriage with Sita."Ram Katha ties the people of India and Nepal with a single thread.
