Police said that the husband confessed to his crime, claiming that he was angry because his family and guests did not get due respect during their wedding ceremony on September 15.SP (city) Abhinandan Singh said, “The deceased was identified as Aarti, 22, resident of Jogi Navada under Baradari police station. Her father Chandra Pal is a businessman. Aarti was married to Rohit Kumar, a resident of Kasganj who works in a courier company in New Delhi. On Tuesday, Aarti’s father filed a missing complaint with the Baradari police station. He is undergoing treatment at the district hospital and is in police custody. He will be sent to jail after the treatment. Kumar confessed that he was unhappy as his family members were not welcomed properly on his wedding day by Aarti’s family and that they did not fulfil their dowry demands.
