HIV+ kids dance showdraws a huge applause

Lucknow: HIV affected children drew a wide applause from the audience for their spirited dance performance at the Janeshwar Mishra Park in Gomtinagar on the World AIDS Day on Friday. During their dance performance, organized by the UP State AIDS Control Society (UPSACS), children shared valuable insights on AIDS prevention. Ravindra Kumar, additional project director of UPSACS, released balloons to mark the beginning of the day-long events.Laying stress on AIDS awareness, Kumar said AIDS is not a stigma or an epidemic, but a shared responsibility.About 30 children showcased their dancing talent on patriotic songs. Their performance drew a thunderous applause, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and unity.The dance show was followed by a rock band performance, a laser light and sound show and a red ribbon candlelight activity.Project director Amrita Soni concluded the event by awarding certificates to children excelling in various events.
