Smart City: Tardy pace irks Jacob

Lucknow: Divisional commissioner Roshan Jacob on Wednesday issued an ultimatum to the officials and warned of action if the civil works under the Smart City Project are not completed within the deadlines. Presiding over a meeting to review the status of the ongoing works under the Smart City Project, Jacob expressed her displeasure over the tardy pace of work and unnecessary delays.She told officials to complete the makeover of Amir-ud-Daula public library by February. Jacob also reviewed the multiple redevelopment and upgrade work for the revamp of KD Singh Babu Stadium. Officials said the renovation of the mini auditorium and redevelopment of toilets at KD Singh Babu Stadium has been completed.
