Only 33% appear for AKTU entrance

On Sunday, the university would conduct the entrance examinations for MBA, MCA and MCA via lateral entry. LUCKNOW: Of the 1,877 registered candidates, only 33% students appeared for APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University 's entrance examinations for admissions to hotel management and fashion designing courses on Saturday. Only 632 students appeared for the entrance tests which was conducted at 16 centres across the state.AKTU also conducted the entrance examinations for admissions to BTech and BPharma through lateral entry, wherein students are given admission directly in second year. A total of 8,278 candidates had registered for the examination, which was conducted at 35 centres.Out of the total, only which 7,521(90.8%) candidates were present.
