One more falls prey to swine flu in Lucknow

LUCKNOW: One more of swine flu positive case was confirmed on Wednesday , taking the city's tally to 26 since January . On Tuesday , a 23-year-old male resident of SGPGI campus tested positive at the virology laboratory of SGPGI and was administered Tamiflu.A 17-year-old from Triveninagar also tested swine flu positive at the virology laboratory of KGMU.On Monday , a 65-year-old woman from Sector-D, LDA Colony , and a 55-year-old man from Jankipuram Extension had tested positive for swine flu. "The patient is undergoing treatment while her family has been given Tamiflu to prevent infection," said Dr G S Bajpai, chief medical officer, Lucknow district. The patient, a 40-year-old woman, is resident of new campus of Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) and she tested positive when she visited its out patient department (OPD) and her sample was collected on July 25.
