Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, June 18Ten scholars from the Nuffield Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, United Kingdom and Canada visited the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on Monday as a part of their Global Focus scholarship programme. They also interacted with faculty of the Agri Business Studies before visiting a field demonstration area in the university. Nuffield scholar, Simon Cook, who is a New Zealand-based Kiwi grower, lauded the reach of the university’s farm literature available for researchers and farmers. The delegates later visited the Crop Museum in the Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics and the Rural Museum in the College of Home Science. Delegates were also briefed about PAU’s more than 150 agriculture related publications and farm magazines.
