LUDHIANA: A delegation of city businessmen led by Gurmeet Singh Kular, president of Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organisation (FICO), met union minister for micro small and medium enterprises (MSME) Giriraj Singh in Delhi on Tuesday evening. The meeting took place on the sidelines of inauguration of India-Korea Technology Exchange Centre at National Small Industries Corporation ( NSIC ) Campus, Delhi.On the occasion, Kular, along with Rajiv Chawla, chairman of IamSME of India raised several issues pertaining to MSME sector. Giving more information about the same, Kular said, “We were given a patient hearing by the minister and some of the major points which we raised included unjustified hike in prices of steel raw material, which has shot by upto Rs 20,000 per ton just due to cartelisation.
