Man booked for wife’s murder, commits suicide; in-laws booked for abetment of suicide

On the complaint of Narinder's family, Randhir was booked under section 304B (dowry death) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) for the murder of her wife Narinder and was in jail since his arrest and after taking bail from high court on"Last year, the family members of Narinder had filed a complaint against Randhir, his elder brother Mandeep Singh and his father Gurcharan Singh accusing them of harassing Narinder and killing after strangulating her, but it later was later converted to dowry death case after investigation", said a cop.On Thursday, Randhir committed suicide and the police reached on the spot and took his body to the civil hospital. While checking the body, the police team founded a six-page suicide note from the Randhir's pocket, in which he had written that the persons responsible for his death were his brother-in-law Gurdhian Singh, two uncles and an aunt at his in-laws.After the postmortem n Thursday, the kin of Randhir blocked the Ambala–Jagadhri road and a traffic jam was witnessed.
