LUDHIANA: Punjab basketball association have organised a special training session with all-time best basketball coach Scott William Flemming who is senior director, operations, NBA India, at Guru Nanak Dev stadium on Wednesday to motivate the budding basketball players.An interaction session was organised for the players where Scott showed some basketball techniques to the players. While addressing the budding basketball player during the special seminar, Scott said basketball is an international sport and is played around the globe. He added that these players have the talent to perform on international platforms and to achieve the same they should adopt advance training schedule. “I have attended training sessions here with local basketball players. Their capabilities at such an early stage of life has really impressed me. I would like to thank the Punjab basketball association members for calling me here to attend training sessions with these budding players.”Teja Singh Dhaliwal, general secretary of Ludhiana Basketball Association, said, “Scott has attended several training sessions at Ludhiana basketball academy in the past three days. He helped the local players to excel in basketball by helping them pick up advanced training techniques which increased their performance capabilities in future.” Basketball association members lauded the efforts of Scott, hoping he comes for such training sessions again.
