PATIALA: The Punjab police in Ropar and Patiala claimed to have no information about any arms cache hidden in Ropar district by pro-Khalistani outfit leader Jerman as claimed by UP Police.Ropar SSP Swapan Sharma said he was unaware of any details about arms and ammunition being clandestinely stored in any village. In March this year, the Ropar police had recovered weapons and ammunition from the Bhakhra Canal during a search operation to trace stolen bikes. The police at the time had claimed that the weapons were dumped in the recent past, but the ammunition could still be used.
