PATIALA: The city on Friday witnessed four separate cases of road accidents. The accused has been booked under various sections of the IPC.Meanwhile, Civil Lines Patiala and Shambu police booked two unidentified persons for injuring two persons in different parts of the city. The accused was admitted to a hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries there. The accused drivers have been booked under various sections of rash driving and causing death by negligence.In the first case, the complainant, Sukhwinder Singh, told cops that a Haryana-based bus driver rammed the vehicle into his brother's motorcycle near Patran block of the district, following which his brother died on the spot.In the second case, Birbal Singh of Deogarh village alleged that the driver of a tractor trolley hit a man, Harbhajan Singh, near Deogarh village.
