Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh to host 40 outstanding teachers from Punjab on January 28

JALANDHAR: After principals, head teachers and teachers of several schools have brought big changes in the ambience of their schools without any financial help from the state government, apart from focussing on the quality of education, Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh will be hosting 40 such teachers on January 28 for their outstanding work. He invites 21 such teachers every week to his office and interacts with them. “They are highly motivated individuals and it is our moral duty to encourage such performers and to back their efforts,” he maintained.

The number of such schools, which have already undergone major change in their outlook, has already crossed 2,200 and more are following the same path.“Amarinder will be treating these teachers who have done a remarkable job through their own initiatives and have become a motivation for other teachers.
