Sikh group faces ire on social media for helping Kashmiri students

If there were offers from Kashmiri businessmen or professional to offer services to Sikhs at subsidised rates or even for free, the gesture of Sikhs also attracted adverse comments from some others. A video of Sikh activists serving tea to Kashmiri students at Gurudwara Singh Sheedan Sohana , Mohali, which was the first to shelter Kashmiri students after they started facing adverse reactions, has been shared by netizens on Facebook.The video was widely shared with a comment in Hindi stating “Shelter to Jihadis in Gurudwaras? Looking away from their own history will cost Sikhs very dearly.” While some addressed Sikhs as brothers though strongly disagreeing with their gesture, some abused them and even called them Khalistanis.
