Ludhiana: Students of class XII of CBSE Board had their Political Science exam on Tuesday, while class X students had their Hindi exam the same day. Class X students found the Hindi exam easy, except the literature portion, which they found lengthy and difficult. For class XII students, the Political Science exam was tricky, especially the 6-mark questions.Samridhi Sharma, a class XII Humanities student of BCM School, Shastri Nagar, said: “The exam was easy. Everyone could complete it on time. Unexpectedly, the map and graphic were really easy. One of the three passages was tricky. The level of all three sets was the same. The question paper was set in such a way that even average students could pass.”Komal, a Political Science teacher at Kundan Vidya Mandir, said: “The six-mark questions were presented in a twisted way for the below average students, although intelligent students understood those questions very well. A lot of internal choices were given in the questions. Overall, it was an average paper, neither too easy nor too tough.”Class XII student Chahat Kapoor said: “My exam went well, as I prepared a lot. I had been through the sample papers and NCERT books thoroughly. I read the questions four times before attempting, as the exam was a bit tricky.”On the other hand, class X students said their Hindi exam went well. Brijbala, a Hindi teacher at KVM School, said: “It was a balanced paper, and was fully according to the CBSE pattern. It was full of choices.”“My exam went well, although Vakya Shodhan (correct sentences) of 4 marks were dicey and confusing,” stated Drishti Jain, a student of class X. Shaveya Arora from DAV School, BRS Nagar, said: “I appeared for Course A Hindi paper, and the literature part was a bit difficult.”
