Training programme on statistical tools

Ludhiana, June 11A week-long training programme on statistical tools and database management kicked-off in the department of soil science, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), yesterday, under the ICAR NAHEP-CAAST project. A total of 35 participants, including PhD scholars, MSc students, young faculty members and research fellows registered for the training programme. The chief guest of the seminar, Dr DK Benbi, ICAR national professor, inspired the participants to learn statistical tools for giving value to the research. In his welcome remarks, Dr OP Choudhary, HoD of soil science, said the training had been organised with generous support of the resource persons from the Indian Agricultural Statistical Research Institute (IASRI), New Delhi.
